Mendocino Farms, the elevated fast casual known for turning sandwiches, salads and more into an unexpected culinary adventure, welcomes the refreshing flavors of summer to its menu with the debut of seasonally inspired dishes and new twists on classics. Starting Tuesday, May 9, guests can fuel their summer with the Strawberry Fields Salad with Chicken, Hot Honey Peach & Prosciutto Sandwich and more.


“We’ve created a menu that captures the vibrant flavors and colors of summer,” said Executive Chef Jeremy Bringardner. “I was inspired by warmer weather and visits to local farmers markets to bring together some of summer’s freshest ingredients in a new way. We’ve had great success with recent limited-time entrées becoming so popular they’ve earned a permanent spot on the menu, and my hope is that guests love these new ones just as much.”

Strawberry Fields SaladIn time for National Salad Month in May, the Strawberry Fields Salad with Chicken will delight with every balanced bite of shaved, roasted chicken breast, strawberries, watermelon radish, shaved fennel, fresh mint, red onions, goat gouda and toasted pistachios, topped with Greek yogurt poppyseed dressing.


“The strawberries are really the highlight of this dish, and their juicy sweet flavor really comes alive in concert with the creamy, salty goat gouda, the pop of aromatic mint, and the tart and refreshing Greek yogurt poppyseed dressing.” said Bringardner. “It’s a lighter option that delivers on what we’re known for –  WOWing guests with unexpected flavor combinations.”


Hot Honey Peach & Prosciutto SandwichArriving on menus in a few weeks when peach season is at its peak, the Hot Honey Peach & Prosciutto Sandwich embodies the heat of the summer, bringing together Italian prosciutto and sliced peaches with fresh mozzarella, crushed honey roasted almonds, Calabrian chili aioli, hot peach honey and arugula on a toasted sesame roll.


“The charcuterie board craze continues and is a staple for summer entertaining, so we thought, ‘How can we riff on that in an elevated Mendo way, flip it into a sandwich set, and make it feel super summer-y?,’” said Bringardner. “The Hot Honey Peach & Prosciutto Sandwich is our answer.”

Mendocino Farms is also expanding its sides and soups as the restaurant continues to serve guests with an appetite for trying new things on a smaller scale. Watermelon Street Cart Salad, Southern Macaroni Salad, Oaxacan Potato Salad, French Lentil & Kale Soup and Chicken Tortilla Soup also join the menu for a limited time.

Italian Roast Beef

The Italian Roast Beef Sandwich will make its debut with roast beef, smoked gouda, Chicago-style mild giardiniera, tomato, Vidalia onion, shredded romaine and Italian herb aioli on a toasted sesame roll.



Turkey Avo Salsa Verde

Fans of the beloved Study of Heat sandwich will enjoy a few flavor upgrades with the Turkey Avo Salsa Verde with shaved, roasted turkey breast, smashed avocado, smoked gouda, cotija cheese, Mama Lil’s sweet hot peppers, jalapeño salsa verde aioli, tomatoes, shredded romaine and red onions on toasted ciabatta.
